Acapulco Design proudly presents Mexican design and traditional craftsmanship in all their authentic vitality. Under managing director Benjamin Caja, the range is being expanded with contemporary interpretations, including the legendary Acapulco Chair lounge chair from the 1950s. New models such as the cantilever chair and the Dining Chair, designed by the studio HANSANDFRANZ, as well as a dining table by product designer Olivia Herms in March 2021 and its "little brother", The Low Table, in summer 2022, complete the range. These models subtly pick up on the stylistic elements of the Acapulco Chair and turn the seating group into a symbol of sociable get-togethers and Mexican joie de vivre.
Authenticity, quality and sustainability as guiding principles
Founded in 2015, Acapulco Design focuses on authenticity, quality and sustainable production. Managing director Benjamin Caja is personally involved in every production step in Mexico City in Mexico to ensure fair conditions for everyone involved. Acapulco Design brings the popular handmade "Acapulco Chair" in many variations from Mexico to Germany, with a focus on authenticity.

The Acapulco Chair by Acapulco Design stands not only for timeless elegance but also for fair trade and social responsibility. The workers in Mexico receive not just the minimum wage but higher, above-average wages. Equal pay for women and men ensures equality, and all labour and safety regulations are strictly observed. Regular visits to and exchanges with the factory in Mexico ensure transparent collaboration. To help protect the environment, Acapulco Design uses recycled plastic and solar energy in the factory. The company places importance on sustainability and durability through high-quality materials and careful production of the original Acapulco Chairs.
