4. How do you clean placemats?
How you clean a placemat depends on its material and finish. PVC or leather placemats can simply be wiped with a damp cloth, while fabric placemats should be washed regularly in the washing machine at a low temperature. Please check the care instructions on the individual product pages. For particularly stubborn stains, you can also use a mild stain remover. Felt, on the other hand, should be cleaned particularly gently: lightly soak a damp cloth or sponge in stain remover and gently rub it into the stain. Then let the felt dry thoroughly. If it then starts to warp, you can iron a felt placemat flat again on the lowest setting.
