Artemide

Artemide – Italian design lamps for body and mind

The light of Artemide lamps has never simply served better vision. Nor has it merely been an opportunity to experiment with the design possibilities of a light. For more than 50 years, the Artemide Group has seen light as a companion to people and a source of physical and mental well-being. With this attitude, Artemide has used specially trained teams to focus on every aspect of lighting technology and on a concept based on a clearly defined scale of values – a concept that was eventually named The Human Light.

Lights that meet people's needs

Beyond this definition, The Human Light stands for intelligent light that adapts to people's needs and supports them in all their everyday activities. From this perspective, Artemide now bases its work on the concept of life situations, understood as specific circumstances and settings in which one or more people take centre stage.

Each of these situations can be assigned different lighting scenarios or moods that are typical of everyday life. Based on these situations and the light they call for, Artemide now presents lights that meet a wide range of human needs and create the light each situation requires. Ceiling lights, floor lamps, pendant lights, table lamps or wall lights – Artemide covers a wide range of lamps and lights.

Light defined by great versatility and maximum adaptability, creating the right light quality and high light output for every situation with minimal energy consumption. That is the light of Artemide.
