Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen
With model 3107 – a design from 1955 – Arne Jacobsen created a chair that would make design history. Light, easy to stack and extremely sturdy, the Series 7 was the ideal chair for the home. But not even Jacobsen could have known that his design would become one of the most popular chairs of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
Now a true classic, the chair is produced by Fritz Hansen in a wide choice of colours and bases, making the Series 7 extremely versatile. The moulded seat shells are available in ten different woods: maple, beech, ash, cherry, Oregon pine, elm, walnut, oak, dark-stained oak or fully dark-stained oak. The core veneer is always beech.
A classic you can configure
The Series 7 is a true all-rounder, available as both a dining chair and a desk chair. For extra comfort, you can choose from a variety of fabric and leather upholstery options for partly or fully upholstered seats and backs. You can configure the Series 7 chair to suit your taste, with a wide range of colours, bases and, if you like, armrests.
