Royal Stainless Steel Cutlery
Give your dining table a regal touch. As early as 1939, designer Sigvard Bernadotte —a prince of the Swedish royal family—designed this cutlery in the functionalist style of the 1930s, thereby enriching the Georg Jensen collection with simplicity and elegance. After its initial release, the then-King of Denmark, Christian X, adopted this now-iconic design as his court cutlery. Originally crafted from silver—and thus not entirely in line with the functionalist ideal of making everyday objects accessible to everyone—the cutlery is now available in stainless steel.Cutlery with a Grooved Design
The rounded handles and long grooves became the hallmark of Bernadotte ’s cutlery and remain unmistakable to this day. Simple forms with elegant details define the modern style of this cutlery and embody the timeless, high-quality design of Bernadotte .
