Gustaf Westman Chunky Mirror: A designer mirror with a round frame that makes a striking statement
The Chunky Mirror by Gustaf Westman is a large mirror with a bold, rounded frame. It was designed by Swedish designer Gustaf Westman , whose studio in Stockholm was founded in 2020 and specializes in developing furniture, objects, and tableware. The mirror combines a sculptural form with a presence that immediately stands out in any room.
A form that appears three-dimensional and vibrant
The Chunky Mirror dispenses with the wavy lines of its predecessor, the Curvy Mirror, and instead features a softly rounded frame. This frame appears almost as if it were inflated, giving the mirror a friendly, sculptural presence. In doing so, Westman stays true to his preference for clear ideas with a playful effect.
Lean it flexibly against a wall or hang it
The mirror can be leaned against a wall or mounted securely. This allows it to be used in various living situations and rearranged as needed. Due to its heavy weight, the manufacturer recommends seeking assistance from qualified professionals for transport and installation.
Handcrafted in Sweden
The Chunky Mirror is handcrafted in Sweden. The meticulous craftsmanship is evident in the uniform frame shape and the harmonious surface, which give the piece its own unique character.
A statement piece
Whether as an eye-catcher in the hallway, living area, or bedroom, the Chunky Mirror by Gustaf Westman combines a playful design with a presence that lingers in the room.
