CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair by Ilse Crawford

Iconic design in soft hues— Carl Hansen ’s CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair combines craftsmanship with timeless elegance

With the CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair, Carl Hansen reinterprets Hans J. Wegner’s legendary design in a particularly harmonious way. Curated by Ilse Crawford, the Soft Collection gives the iconic chair a matte, monochromatic color palette that strikingly accentuates its flowing lines and characteristic Y-shaped backrest. The finely tuned color tones give this classic a look that is both modern and timeless, allowing it to blend effortlessly into a wide variety of interior design concepts.

Like the original, the CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair is crafted from high-quality solid wood and finished using traditional handcrafted methods with a seat made of hand-woven paper cord. The ergonomically shaped backrest and generous seat ensure a high level of comfort at the dining table, in the home office, or as a stylish standalone piece in the living area. With its successful blend of Scandinavian design history, precision craftsmanship, and modern color scheme, the CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair is Carl Hansen a piece of furniture that will be cherished for generations.
